Lewin Philanthropy Advisors partners with people and organizations who are serious about impact and ready for a more intentional, trust-based approach that adds joy to giving. Our approach is highly collaborative, innovative, and results-driven.
Nonprofits that want to grow fundraising capacity, diversify revenue, and build transformational- rather than transactional relationships with their donors and funders.
Donors, families, and philanthropic investors who want to align their giving with their values, support community-based work, and move beyond one-time donations.
Hi, I’m Connie.
Early in my career, I was asked to raise $1 million for a small nonprofit in Rwanda. I learned that the challenge was not only fundraising, but also helping donors understand the real-life experiences of the people they support. That lesson has guided my work ever since. I’ve worked with CEOs, boards, and philanthropic advisors to raise and direct over $18 million to help entrepreneurs and community leaders tackle issues such as economic opportunity, housing, entrepreneurship, health, and global development. I believe the strongest strategies are built through deep listening, clear analysis, and direct connection to the people closest to the challenges.
With over 15 years of experience in fundraising, program strategy, and building partnerships, I am passionate about helping people access the resources and connections they need to drive real change in their communities.
I’d love to connect and see how we can make a difference together.
Lewin Philanthropy Advisors offers coaching and strategic advising for two groups that shape impact together: nonprofits doing the work on the ground and donors and families investing in that work.
Every engagement is tailored, but all of our services share the same goal: clear strategy, stronger relationships, and sustainable, community-centered impact.
We bring hands-on experience from every corner of fundraising, from community drives to securing seven‑figure gifts. Our approach is practical, people‑centered, and rooted in helping organizations stay nimble and responsive to their communities.
• Sustainable Fundraising Coaching (for nonprofits) | Monthly Advisory Retainer | 3–6 Month Minimum Engagement
This coaching partnership supports executive directors and development leaders managing fundraising alongside other responsibilities. We collaborate to build a realistic fundraising plan, strengthen donor strategy and outreach, and implement simple systems for more consistent, confident fundraising.
You might be ready if:
Fundraising feels reactive and driven by deadlines rather than a clear plan.
You rely on a small number of funders and want to build a more diverse, sustainable base of support.
Your executive director or development lead would benefit from a strategic partner who brings experience, accountability, and perspective.
• Fundraising Foundations Sprint (for nonprofits) | Defined Project | 8–10 Weeks
A focused engagement to step back from day-to-day urgency and design a clear revenue strategy. We assess your current fundraising, clarify your case for support, set priorities, and map out a practical 12–24 month fundraising roadmap aligned with your programs and capacity. This is the right starting point if you want to see how we work together before committing to a longer engagement.
You might be ready if:
You have been fundraising by instinct and need a written strategy.
You want to identify and prioritize your top prospective donors or funding partners.
Your board is not yet engaged in fundraising and you want a clearer path forward.
We help donors and families give with greater clarity, confidence, and alignment. Whether you are building a more intentional giving practice, exploring new areas, or involving the next generation, we offer guidance to ensure your philanthropy reflects your values and strengthens the communities you care about.
• The Giving Clarity Blueprint (for donors and families) Defined Project | 6–8 Weeks
This focused advisory engagement supports donors and families seeking a more intentional, values-aligned approach to giving. We clarify your priorities, assess alignment in your current giving, and create a practical framework for confident, purposeful philanthropic decisions.
You might be ready if:
You give generously each year, but want a more coherent strategy than one-time requests and reactive decisions.
You are new to structured philanthropy and want to build thoughtful giving habits from the beginning.
You want stronger due diligence and clearer priorities without overcomplicating the process.
You want family philanthropy to feel more grounded, collaborative, and meaningful.
• Ongoing Advisory Services (for donors and families) | 6-Month Minimum Engagement
This long-term advisory partnership supports donor families and family offices seeking a trusted partner to guide disciplined, responsive, and thoughtful giving. We assist with both strategy development and ongoing implementation through real decisions, relationships, and learning.
You might be ready if:
You already have a giving strategy and want support with execution, refinement, and follow-through.
Your philanthropy is expanding, and you want help evaluating new opportunities and conducting due diligence.
You want to strengthen relationships with grantees and make your giving more thoughtful and effective over time.
A new generation is becoming involved, and you want support in creating meaningful participation and alignment.
